To be eligible for PEEP, the spouse of a Defence member must meet the following criteria:

• A spouse must be recognised (married or defacto) on PMKeys as a partner of the ADF member (the ADF member must be a full time ADF member or reservist on CFTS)
• To be eligible for your $12,000 PEEP Allowance you must seek approval within two years of moving to your new posting locality.
• Once approved you can access PEEP initiatives as many times as needed up to a maximum of $6,000 per posting.
• Where the partner is also a full time ADF member or Reservist on CFTS there is no PEEP entitlement.
• The $12,000 Allowance is a one off Allowance valid for ten years and is irrespective of whether the applicant has a recognised relationship with more than one member.
