The new PEEP scheme replaces the SWAPP SELECT program and is a Defence initiative aimed at minimising disruption to the lifestyle of Defence members by helping equip their spouses with the tools needed to find work in a new posting location.

Assistance is provided at Defence expense for spouses of Defence members to access the workforce and to enhance their future employment opportunities.

If you've moved to a new posting locality in the last two years and your spouse is recognised (married or defacto) by the ADF system, then chances are they are eligible for the $12,000 Partner Education and Employment Program (PEEP) allowance. Once approved, you get $12,000 to spend over 10 years on approved services, up to a maximum of $6,000 per posting locality.

Defence pays us for all services directly subject to eligibility and approval.
